On September 25, 2024, the opening of the exhibition “ARCHEOLOGY OF LOVE” by the art group Sisters in Art took place in the interior design center The Dom.
The ancient Greeks believed that love moves the world, that it is the basis of everything and this multifaceted feeling has seven forms: ludus, eros, mania, philia, storge and agape.
The exhibition consisted of seven canvases, each of which identified a certain type of this feeling: love-game, love-passion, love-obsession, love-affection, love of convenience, etc.
The monumental size of the canvases was not chosen by chance, it repeats the size of a king-size bed.
At the entrance to the exhibition, guests were greeted by an unusual performance "Talking Bed", where lovers talked about male-female relationships and discussed different stages of love, involving the viewer in their dialogue.
The viewing of the exhibition was accompanied by neo-classical music by candlelight.
