Art Maslenitsa in Gridchinhall
On March 16th the Gridchinhall Gallery held the opening of the exhibition “IN ITS OWN TIME.”
Why does everything happen the way it does? How do artists choose certain themes and techniques while leaving others out? What connections, like invisible threads, brought these paintings and objects together in one space and wove the fabric of the exhibition? Analysis of cause and effect becomes the key to understanding the artistic process, a look at which raises many interesting questions.
Gallery guests welcomed spring surrounded by the gallery's regular residents and specially invited guests – SISTERS IN ART. The exhibition featured works by artists from the “Excavation of the Inner Child” series.
The vernissage ended with the spectacular burning of an art object made in the image of a polar bear by the artists of SISTERS IN ART.
